**ঢাকা কলেজ ও সিটি কলেজ শিক্ষার্থীদের সংঘর্ষ**  

২০ নভেম্বর ২০২৪ তারিখে ঢাকার নিউ মার্কেট এলাকায় ঢাকা কলেজ ও সিটি কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে দফায় দফায় সংঘর্ষের ঘটনা ঘটে। এই সংঘর্ষে একাধিক ব্যক্তি আহত হন এবং বেশ কিছু সম্পত্তি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হয়।  

### সংঘর্ষের কারণ:  

ঘটনার সূত্রপাত হয় পুরোনো একটি বিরোধকে কেন্দ্র করে। শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে আগে থেকেই বিরোধ ছিল এবং তা সামাজিক মাধ্যমেও প্রকাশ পায়। সংঘর্ষটি শুরু হয় সকালে নিউ মার্কেট এবং সায়েন্স ল্যাব এলাকার কাছাকাছি। দুই পক্ষের মধ্যে উত্তেজনা দ্রুত বাড়তে থাকে এবং তা সংঘর্ষে রূপ নেয়। 

  

### সংঘর্ষের প্রভাব:  

1. **ক্ষয়ক্ষতি**:  

   শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে মারামারির সময় রাস্তার বেশ কয়েকটি যানবাহন ভাঙচুর করা হয়। এতে স্থানীয় দোকানদার এবং সাধারণ মানুষ আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পড়েন।  

   

2. **আহতরা**:  

   সংঘর্ষে উভয় পক্ষের শিক্ষার্থীরা আহত হয়েছেন। পুলিশের হস্তক্ষেপে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনা হয়, তবে এর আগে বেশ কিছু সময় ধরে উত্তেজনা চলতে থাকে।  

3. **পুলিশের ভূমিকা**:  

   সংঘর্ষ থামাতে পুলিশ ঘটনাস্থলে উপস্থিত হয় এবং কাঁদানে গ্যাস ও লাঠিচার্জের মাধ্যমে পরিস্থিতি নিয়ন্ত্রণে আনার চেষ্টা করে। নিউ মার্কেট থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত কর্মকর্তা (ওসি) জানান, অতিরিক্ত পুলিশ মোতায়েন করা হয়েছে যাতে পরিস্থিতি আরও অবনতি না ঘটে।  

 

### প্রশাসনের পদক্ষেপ:  

- উভয় কলেজের কর্তৃপক্ষ শিক্ষার্থীদের শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রাখার আহ্বান জানিয়েছে এবং সংঘর্ষের কারণ তদন্তের প্রতিশ্রুতি দিয়েছে।  

- স্থানীয় প্রশাসন পরিস্থিতি পর্যবেক্ষণ করছে এবং ভবিষ্যতে এ ধরনের ঘটনা এড়াতে পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণের কথা বলেছে।  

### পুনরাবৃত্ত সংঘর্ষের ইতিহাস:  

ঢাকা কলেজ এবং সিটি কলেজের শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে এ ধরনের সংঘর্ষ নতুন নয়। আগেও ছোটখাটো বিরোধ নিয়ে উত্তেজনার সৃষ্টি হয়েছে, যা পরে বড় ধরনের সংঘর্ষে রূপ নেয়। বিশেষজ্ঞরা বলছেন, শিক্ষার্থীদের মধ্যে পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতার মনোভাব গড়ে তোলা এবং কলেজ কর্তৃপক্ষের আরও কার্যকর ভূমিকা নেওয়া প্রয়োজন।  

এই সংঘর্ষ শুধু শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠানের নয়, পুরো এলাকায় একটি নেতিবাচক প্রভাব ফেলে। এটি সমাধানে স্থানীয় প্রশাসন, পুলিশ এবং সংশ্লিষ্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের সমন্বিত উদ্যোগ প্রয়োজন।

**Dhaka College and City College Clash Details**

On November 20, 2024, a violent clash erupted between the students of Dhaka College and City College in Dhaka's New Market area. The incident, which unfolded in multiple phases, involved significant unrest, with reports of vandalism and injuries.

1. **Origin of the Clash**: Tensions reportedly began over a previous altercation between students. It escalated quickly on November 20 when students from both institutions gathered near the New Market area and Science Laboratory intersection, leading to physical confrontations.

    

2. **Property Damage**: The violence caused significant disruption. Vehicles, including buses and smaller vehicles, were damaged during the clashes, spreading panic among locals and shopkeepers in the area.

3. **Injuries and Response**: Several students and at least one teacher were injured. Police intervened by deploying additional forces around New Market and Science Laboratory to disperse the crowd and restore order. Tear gas and other measures were reportedly used to control the situation.

4. **Institutional and Police Actions**: Both college administrations have warned their students against engaging in violence and encouraged them to maintain discipline. Local police are also investigating the root causes of the recurring clashes between these two institutions, as such incidents have been reported before.

This clash is part of a pattern of rivalry between students of these colleges, often fueled by disputes over dominance in specific areas or social media instigations. Authorities are working to resolve the underlying issues to prevent further violence.
